Elaboration

Harvested by hand and ferment in stainless steel tanks of 2500 liters. Elaborated by the traditional artisanal methods and aged for 18 months in French oak forest of the Vosges, Alsace.

Characteristics

A soft red ruby wine. Its aroma cast elegance and typical feature nose with floral aromas such as violet and red fruit recalling the strawberries and rosehips. Subtle notes of vanilla and toasted walnuts increase the complexity of the wine. The palate confirms its excellent typicity, with a generous, wide opening framed by fine tannins and refreshing acidity that prolongs the flavors to produce a long, smooth and elegant finish.

Best served with stewed meats and grilled.

Terroir

Pinot noir The Latuffa comes from our vineyard of Traiguén, located in Malleco D.O, the most austral and cold appellation of wine origin in Chile. The climate is continental, cold, cloudy, with 900-1200 mm of rainfall a year.
The soil is volcanic Tufa of old volcanic explosions, clay, sand, full of minerals and stones. The block has 17 years of 1,1 ha.
